Smart-card and wearable contactless payment formats.
Galaksity provides smart cards, stickers and wearable payment devices according to the organisation’s usage scenario, field conditions and target user experience.
Contactless payment devices can be configured for open-loop or closed-loop payment models according to project requirements.
01 / OPEN LOOP
Open-loop payment model.
In an open-loop model, the payment device is linked to the user’s bank or credit card and can be used across the existing payment-acceptance infrastructure. Users can make contactless payments through a designated sticker, ring, wristband, watch strap or key fob.
SUITABLE USE CASES
Everyday payments, mobility, municipal services and other payment-acceptance environments.
02 / CLOSED LOOP
Closed-loop payment model.
In a closed-loop model, the balance or usage entitlement assigned to the user can only be used within a defined service network or controlled environment. Spending, balance movements and operational outputs can be managed and reported centrally.
SUITABLE USE CASES
Transit cards, water-meter and natural-gas-meter cards; concert and festival venues, hotels, resorts, campuses, events and controlled service environments.
OPEN LOOP / MOBILITY
A seamless access experience in mobility infrastructures using bank cards and contactless payment devices.
02 / PHYSICAL FORM
Which device willthe user pay with?
Stickers, watches, rings and key fobs can be offered as contactless payment devices according to usage habits and field requirements.

03 / SMART CARDS
Smart-card solutions for mobility and municipal services.
Smart cards are provided as payment devices that allow users to access transport, municipal services and field operations contactlessly.
Galaksity’s work in this area includes BELBİM — İstanbulkart, Kayseri Ulaşım A.Ş. — Kart38 and Erciyes Kart, and BURULAŞ — BursaKart projects.
It is the integration of contactless payment capability into physical formats such as rings, wristbands, watch straps, key fobs or stickers.
What is the difference between open-loop and closed-loop payment?
In open-loop models, the device can be used on the existing payment-acceptance infrastructure. In closed-loop models, the balance or usage entitlement is valid only within a defined service network; transit cards, water and natural-gas meter cards, campuses, hotels and event venues are examples.
Which physical form should be selected?
The choice depends on user habits, frequency of use, field conditions, distribution model and the target experience.
Can payment devices integrate with existing systems?
The devices can be designed to work with existing systems, GalaksiPay and, where needed, Electronic Fare Collection Systems.
